The
journey through the desert to Canaan, the promised land, should have taken a
couple weeks, but instead the Israelites end up wandering in the desert for
almost 40 years. God is telling
them when to move and when to wait.
So why did He make them wait for so long? They weren’t ready.
They didn’t trust Him.
There
was a message given at the 2010 Global Leadership Summit by Jeff Manion that I
have never forgotten called “The Land Between.” It is based on Numbers 11 and what is going on with Moses
and the Israelites in the desert. It
made such an impact on me and really stuck with me. I watched it again today, and I strongly recommend taking
the time to watch it! Even if you
don’t have time right now, set aside a time later to watch it. It is about 40 minutes, which may seem
like a lot, but just watch it in place of a television show or getting on Facebook,
or just stay up a little later before bed. It is so worth it, and you will not regret it!
