There
was a phrase that came up several times in the passage today that surprised me
a little…. “all who are willing.”
God had given commandments and directions, but He did not force them to
do anything. They had to be
willing to follow Him and His ways.
God wanted their hearts to be on Him.
I
also love that we get to see how much God loves art and beauty. It says He gave the ability to make
artistic designs and to engage in all kinds of artistic craftsmanship. Think about the description of the
lampstand – one piece hammered out of about 75 pounds of pure gold with
branches and buds and blossoms on each side…
If
we are willing He can use us to create something beautiful.
