Exodus
19-23; Psalm 19

How
fitting that Psalm 19 came along on the same day as the beginning of God’s
law. David describes the law of
the Lord as perfect, trustworthy, right, radiant, sure, more precious than
gold, and sweeter than honey. It
revives the soul, makes wise the simple, gives joy to the heart, gives light to
the eyes, and in keeping them there is great reward.
God
knew we needed guidelines to live by, but He also knew we needed a plan for
redemption, which comes through His son Jesus.
I’m
finding myself delighting in God’s Word in a new way this year. I look forward to reading each day and
hearing from the Lord. I’m so
thankful for those who are following along with me and reading this blog as
well. I hope that God is blessing
and speaking to others hearts like He is mine.
“May
the words of my mouth and the meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight,
O Lord, my Rock and my Redeemer.”
